Memorial day is behind us, which in my book means it’s officially summer time. We have great events planned this summer. I cannot pick which I am more excited about, we have too many to choose from. I hope that as you are finalizing vacation plans, pool outings, and grandkid visits that you are also planning to be a part of all that is happening this Summer.
I want to highlight four big events for you to participate in this summer:
- Senior Adult VBS: June 1st-June 5th
It’s not too late to sign up for this old fashioned VBS. Crafts, snacks, missionaries, and Bible time all geared for our senior adults. Bring a friend and come enjoy this great time together.
- VBSC: July 14-17th
We need your help for this camp. Every year we connect with kids and their families to share the Gospel. There are many ways to help, look for a sign up in the lobby starting this Sunday.
- World Cup evangelism: June 25th
The World Cup is hosting 6 games in Kansas City this Summer with over 650,000 people expected to come through our town. We are going to be joining other believers to help do street evangelism for the game on June 25th.
- Royals Game: August
Be on the lookout as the summer winds down for a churchwide trip to the Royals game (maybe we can see a win?). This will be a great time for fellowship together before we kick off small groups and other fall activities.
God bless,
Pastor Nic
Hey there, what happened to June 7th on the calendar. I was setting up my calendar and there is a gap?
Vacation? Mis print? Intentional confusion????
