“Taste and see that the Lord is good” Psalm 34:8
I am reminded of this verse as I think about all that the Lord has done and continues to do. Sunday was a great time of worship together. It was great to celebrate a Baptism knowing that we have another one this Sunday. I also enjoyed the vibrant time of fellowship over lunch. Members’ Meeting was enjoyable with a true spirit of excitement over all that the Lord is doing. I hope that the Lord’s goodness is as evident in your life as it has been in the life of our church.
Don’t forget that Friday is Prayer and Worship night at 6:30. I hope that you are making it a priority to be present for this service. Setting aside time for intentional prayer is an important part of how our church functions. We believe that prayer is powerful, not just because the Lord answers, but also because it refocuses us on heavenly concerns. This Friday’s service is going to challenge us to pray deeply for the Lord to do big things. You will not want to miss out on this opportunity.
