“We are better together!” This is a phrase that I try to remind us of often. Scripture reveals from the beginning of Genesis all the way to the close of Revelation that God has not created us to be alone. This is true in many aspects of our lives, but easily seen in the church. Whether in the context of being a part of a local church, or churches joining together in associations and conventions, God multiples our faithful service when we work together.
This Sunday we get to show our community that we believe “we are better together”. I pray that you are excited as I am about our combined worship service. This is going to be a huge celebration of the Lord’s goodness and provision. I encourage you to be a flexible and gracious host as Word of Life joins us. I am sure that space will be tight and we will have some hiccups, but I know God will be glorified as together we lift up our praise to the same God and same saviour.
