I hope you were able to attend service Sunday (or at least watch online) and hear the exciting news that we have a gentleman, Mike Harper, coming in view of a call on August 30th. In the next couple of weeks you will hear more about him, his wife, and the process. The process has been long and different than we originally expected but I believe that God has led us to the person he wants for us at this time. The search team believes Mike is the right fit to help us to proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and bring God glory, this is why the search team unanimously recommends him for the Association Pastor position at our church. While he has been recommended, it is the job of the entire congregation to approve him for pastoral ministry in our church. I ask that you begin praying that the Lord would clearly reveal if he is the right fit for our Church.
