As we prepare for Mike Harper to come in view of a call to our Associate Pastor position this Sunday I would encourage you to take time and read 1st Timothy 3:1-11. This is one of the passages in scripture that explains the qualifications for the office of Pastor. It is important that we understand these qualifications because the responsibility of appointing Pastors in the local church rests with the members of the local church body. I pray that you take this privilege seriously; it is a blessing to be a part of what God is doing in the local church. It is exciting to think about what this Sunday may bring as we gather to worship, fellowship, and follow our Lord and savior.
