I often joke that we should be careful about praying for patience because the Lord will give us opportunities to be patient; I guess the same can be said for preaching on suffering. It has been encouraging and challenging to walk through 1st Peter and see the great calling on the life of the believer to live as Christ did through all of life’s circumstances. I hope that you have been as moved by God’s word as I have in our walk through 1st Peter. It may not be easy, but there is no nobler purpose than living for God’s glory. May we walk faithfully through all life’s circumstances.
