What great blessings God gives us. Not only does he offer us salvation through Jesus Christ, but we are also adopted into a family of faith. One of the joys of being a pastor is the opportunity to hear myriads of stories of how people get connected with the church. It is always amazing to see how God uses the church to bless people. We all bring our own backgrounds and stories that God unties into one beautiful whole.
I want to encourage you this week to ask God what are the next steps you need to take as a part of the family of God. Wherever you are at in your walk, the church is given by God to help you take those next steps. However we can help, we are here for you and want to help you take those next steps. I am encouraging everyone to start these steps by taking the time to connect with a church member this week and pray for them. The Lord gives us clear instruction in scripture to pray for each other; let’s live out who he is calling us to be.
