Evangelize
- The resurrection was an abnormal and supernatural event. In what ways can we struggle to believe the supernatural event of the resurrection?
- The resurrection shows us that God can bring death to life and restore brokenness. Do you believe that God can restore your brokenness and give you life? If yes then how do we live out believing that he can restore our brokenness and give us life?
Establish
- Jesus’ resurrection changes our understanding of the cross of Jesus. How is the tomb being empty important to understanding Jesus’ death?
- The news of the resurrection of Jesus is shared communally (with groups of people, women, disciples, etc). How do we live out the communal sharing of the resurrection in our lives?
- The power that brought Jesus to life is given to the believer. How do you need to grow in your understanding of how the resurrection of Jesus directly applies to your own life transformation?
Equip
- The women and disciples who saw the tomb believed in Jesus without understanding exactly how and why he was working. What are some areas that you need to trust Jesus in even if you don’t understand completely how and why he is working?
- The resurrection shows us that God does miraculous things and can overcome all obstacles. What areas do you struggle to believe that God can do something miraculous in? How can we encourage each other to believe in the power of God to work?
