He is risen indeed! What a great resurrection Sunday we enjoyed together as a church. Thank you to everyone that braved the chilly weather for our Sunrise Service. We had a great turnout and a great breakfast together. I also want to give a huge thank you to the choir for blessing us with great musical worship at both our Good Friday service and our Easter Service. They bring much joy and excitement to our worship services. It was great to see faces of extended family but also first time visitors on Sunday. We do an amazing job as a church at helping people to feel welcome and accepted.
As we begin to look ahead and move into spring and summer I want to encourage you to keep the resurrection at the forefront. It is easy to get distracted in the day to day grind of life, forgetting the miracle of Easter. Christ is just as alive and risen today as he was yesterday, the day before, or 2,000 years ago. We can rejoice, enjoy, and delight in the resurrection everyday and in all seasons of life. Do not forget the great power of God that raised our savior from the dead. That same power is now at work for us.
This coming Sunday we will be starting a new series looking at what it means to be a church family. I want to encourage you to take some time to reflect on what your church family means to you. Send a card, give a quick call, or shoot off a text message and bless those that you have the opportunity to be in fellowship with.Lord has blessed us with great brothers and sisters to call a part of our church family.
